I am thrilled to finally be allowed to announce my Multiple Picture Book Deal!
In a frenzied multi-way auction, my agent, Stephanie Thwaites of Curtis Brown, has acquired multiple book deals for me with Oxford University Press (OUP) and Simon & Schuster (S&S).
I am thrilled to be represented by Stephanie Thwaites of Curtis Brown London, one of the world’s leading literary and talent agencies.
Stephanie is more than I ever dreamed to find in an agent. She’s enthusiastic, full of brilliant ideas, provides me with fantastic hands on editorial support and is simply a complete joy to work with.
It feels humbling to be represented by Stephanie who, amongst many other literary greats, looks after the estates of E H Shepard and A A Milne whose Winnie-the-Pooh has been a long time inspiration of mine.
This year was my first time at Bologna Children’s Book Fair and it exceeded all my expectations.
Within the first hour of arriving, whilst putting some of my work on the illustrators’ wall, I had given two TV interviews and had been approached by various publishers from around the world.
I hope my new website gives a good idea of who I am and what I do.
